Airlie Beach Foreshore comes alive!

We welcome Sebel Whitsundays as our new 2024 sponsor for the Fireworks on the Foreshore.

The evening will open with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony by Yooribaya Cultural Experiences followed by traditional dance and whale story performance.

As dusk arrives our ever expanding and enchanting art installation ‘Immerse’ will light up showcasing the beauty of the underwater world

The entertainment will spread along the foreshore with roving Pop up performers, night markets and the Whitsunday Foodservice ‘Eat Street’ providing a delightful culinary experience. Carnival rides operating in the Lagoon Car Park and ‘Finding Dory’ will be showing on the movie screen. Bring a rug and find a spot on the beach before 8:30pm to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display over the Coral Sea.

Beach Vibes

Back on the Main Stage get ready for captivating performances by a variety of artists kicking off at 6:00pm with Category 5, then local rock Band Gleezus, international DJ Charly Templar and the highlight- the amazing internationally known Conrad Sewell. Music and entertainment is free for everyone, with a small cover charge to enter the bar and enjoy stage side seats and front row views to the fireworks – tickets can be booked online to avoid the queues.
